At the recommendation of a reader I’ve put my 5e content all here for quick reference. Still fumbling my way around, but I think I have it functional at least at this point. Polish may come later.
I went back and forth whether to include my OrcLabs podcast, as there is a number of things on there I’m a bit embarrassed by. Whether it’s calling Fire Bolt “Flame Bolt” or Minor Illusion “Minor image” or, the big one, not knowing that it was a free action to interact with an illusion. That said, there’s some stuff on there I’m proud of too, things that I think are still valuable, specifically, the role of Wizards, how to evaluate spells, and what kind of spells are most helpful to your team and why. For that reason, I’ve decided to include it. Just be aware that I’m already aware of the mistakes, unfortunately, I can’t fix them.
Right now I’m picking at part 2 of my Character Creation guide, an Aasimar Nature Cleric that we will level from 1-20. There will likely be more to follow, but that is what I’m working on now.
I’m dipping my toe into Roll20, and will be part of a live stream on TwitchTV this coming Monday (and the following 3 Mondays, at 5:30pm EST). There is a link on the home screen, and to my understanding, they will also be posted to YouTube which I will post a link to here as well.
I’m also looking into creating a YouTube channel for talking D&D. I would love to do a series just talking about spells. Maybe one looking at class archetypes. I definitely think some things are overrated and others are underrated, that alone could fill a number of segments. Unfortunately, I know nothing about creating/editing/producing videos, so I’m currently watching some YouTube tutorials on the subject. Hoping to have something going before the end of this year. I will post updates here.
Yeah, that’s all around a wife and daughter and a full-time job, so things will happen at their own pace as time allows.
